Clinicians Health Channel - Information Resources

This section provides information about available online resources, and contacts for support, for staff at the Regional Care Group hospitals.

Note:  many of the online resources which can be found on the main pages of the Alfred Library Service website are not currently available to the wider Bayside Health community.  This is due to the license conditions which apply when these resources are purchased. Discussions will be held to investigate how library services can be developed.

Registration to access CHC resources

Key resources listed below are provided by the Victoria's Clinicians Health Channel, and will require CHC OpenAthens registration to access. 

Staff can register using their work email address via the following registration link. 

[Note: although the registration page refers to "offsite" access, this method will most likely also be required for accessing onsite at regional hospital sites.]

When setting up your account choose your appropriate Local Health Service Network option, ie

Bayside Health - Bass Coast Health
Bayside Health - Gippsland Southern Health Service
Bayside Health - Kooweerup Regional Health Service
