Preparing for Bayside Health

Alfred Health, Peninsula Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, and Kooweerup Regional Health Service will merge into Bayside Health (working title) from Jan 2026.  Currently only Alfred Health and Peninsula Health have an established library service.  For staff from Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service and Kooweerup Regional Health Service, this section provides information about available online resources, updates on resource access, and contacts for support.

Note:  unfortunately many of the online resources which can be found on the main pages of the Alfred Health Library Service website are not currently available to the wider Bayside Health community.  This is due to the license conditions which apply when these resources were purchased. Discussions will be held to investigate how library services can be developed.

Registration for Offsite Access

Key resources listed below are provided by the Victoria's Clinicians Health Channel and are accessible without login from network PC's at each Bayside Health hospital campus.  For offsite use staff can register using their work email address via the following registration link.  The full range of e-resources, guidelines, books and journals can be found here.
